“I had the pleasure to work with Valley Growers on a National Award winning state of the art, High School Project, in Sandy Oregon. The overall project is constructed on a challenging 80 acre site, which slopes 100 feet over its footprint. The site work and landscape was designed to contain and treat all rain water on site, while being strained clean into a local pristine creek.
Valley’s contract included complex grading and erosion control measures with the use of many site specific and local plantings, to accomplish the landscape designers overall vision.

“Valley Growers was our landscape subcontractor on an ODOT project called, I-5 Tualatin River – Willamette River Bridge Section. The project was 7 miles long. There were several water quality swales within the 7 mile area that required special growing media and seed mix which Valley Growers installed.
In the median just off the asphalt shoulder, the area was excavated and a compost amended soil was placed and hydro seeded. A new auxiliary lane from the I-205/1-5 intersection south to the North Wilsonville exit was installed. Valley Growers installed trees, shrubs and ground cover on the west side of the new lane. The area did not have irrigation and Valley Growers come up with the idea of installing water gel packs.
This was the first time Kodiak Pacific had worked with Valley Growers and since then have invite them to bid on a number of projects. I would recommend Valley Growers if you are looking for a quality landscape subcontractor.”
