“Valley Growers was subcontracted to complete the Landscaping & Irrigation portions of the Multnomah County East County Courts project. They performed with the highest professionalism and were responsive to all requests. Their efforts helped make the East County Courts project such a success.”
“Valley Growers was contracted to perform work on the Award Winning Hillsboro Intermodal Transit Facility Project in Hillsboro, Oregon. They were responsible for the landscaping work at the site perimeter and on the storm-water treatment rain garden which is one of the project’s most attractive features.
I was especially impressed with how well VG coordinated their work with other key trades that installed the rockery and the concrete work in some very congested areas. Overall, VG was great to work with and their field personnel did an excellent job completing a challenging project for a demanding client.”
“Valley Growers recently completed a challenging ODOT project in Eugene with Pacific Excavation. Vicqui and her staff did a great job of working through all of the scheduling and construction challenges of a project that had multiple agencies to satisfy.
They are understanding of the submittal and approval processes of ODOT and were always responsive to the scheduling needs of the project. Pacific Excavation looks forward to our next project with Valley Growers.”
“Vicqui and the entire Valley Growers team were very professional and their quality of work was outstanding. We were very pleased with their performance at Hillsboro ITF and look forward to partnering with them in the future.”
“We handed out “Spot Awards” this week (19th April 2013) to Valley Growers core crew. Lead by Keith and Michael, Valley Grower rose to the challenge to ensure a quality on time site delivery. Their attention to detail, working directly with the landscaping consultant, and maintaining a high quality has been outstanding. This crew is worthy candidates to receive this spot award.”
“I had the pleasure to work with Valley Growers on a National Award winning state of the art, High School Project, in Sandy Oregon. The overall project is constructed on a challenging 80 acre site, which slopes 100 feet over its footprint. The site work and landscape was designed to contain and treat all rain water on site, while being strained clean into a local pristine creek.
Valley’s contract included complex grading and erosion control measures with the use of many site specific and local plantings, to accomplish the landscape designers overall vision.
Valley was challenged with the challenge of the high elevation and challenging weather conditions, yet met the schedule throughout the 2 year phased construction. We enjoyed the chance to work with Vicqui, Keith and their crews and look forward to on our next opportunity in the future.”
“Valley Growers was our landscape subcontractor on an ODOT project called, I-5 Tualatin River – Willamette River Bridge Section. The project was 7 miles long. There were several water quality swales within the 7 mile area that required special growing media and seed mix which Valley Growers installed.
In the median just off the asphalt shoulder, the area was excavated and a compost amended soil was placed and hydro seeded. A new auxiliary lane from the I-205/1-5 intersection south to the North Wilsonville exit was installed. Valley Growers installed trees, shrubs and ground cover on the west side of the new lane. The area did not have irrigation and Valley Growers come up with the idea of installing water gel packs.
This was the first time Kodiak Pacific had worked with Valley Growers and since then have invite them to bid on a number of projects. I would recommend Valley Growers if you are looking for a quality landscape subcontractor.”
